is there a subscription?
no. it's a one-time purchase, and it never becomes a subscription. that's rather the point.
do i need an account?
no. there's no login and no server of mine anywhere in this. your log lives on your phone and syncs through your own icloud, in a private database only you can read. i can't see it.
does it work offline?
entirely. sync is a convenience, not a requirement.
why iphone only?
sync runs on your icloud instead of my server, which is what keeps this a one-time purchase with no running costs behind it. ipad isn't there yet.
is there an Apple Watch app?
not yet. but lift imports workouts recorded on your watch — or strava, or anything else that writes to Apple Health — and writes your sessions back out.
can i import from strong or hevy?
csv import is being built for launch.
is it kg only?
for now. lb and imperial are being wired up before launch.
what does the beta involve?
install through testflight, train as you normally would, and tell me what breaks. at the end, complete a short survey with your honest feedback. the first 100 testers who do get lift free for life. sync is the part i most need beaten up — if you use two apple devices, say so when i email you, because that's where the interesting failures live.
what will it cost?
a one-time purchase. it will never become a subscription. the first 100 testers who complete the beta survey get it free for life.

train with lift during the beta, then complete a short honest feedback survey. the first 100 testers who do keep the full app, free for life.
